All of us at Ted Moore Auto Group have been inspired by the attention and dedication Russell Westbrook has shown to the health and wellbeing of children in the Oklahoma community. So when we were given the opportunity to be part of Russell's Reading Rooms, we didn't hesitate. We donated $50,000 to the Why Not Foundation, and helped Westbrook open multiple reading rooms in Oklahoma. We are proud to be part of the superstar's effort to give each child in the community a book to read and a safe place to do so.

In 2013 a devastating tornado shook central Oklahoma, and took 24 people from families and friends. We, not just as a local business, but also as fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, friends and community members, felt we had to contribute to the rebuilding and recovery of our neighborhoods. We also wanted to be proactive in an attempt to keep the children in our community safe. That is why we helped create Shelter Oklahoma Schools by organizing our community around the effort, and by contributing $100,000 to jump start the nonprofit's giving. Because of Shelter Oklahoma Schools, storm shelters have been put into numerous schools across our state.
